How Old Is Your Car Battery? (Reading Battery Date Codes)
Просмотров 316 тыс.9 лет назад
In this video I show you how to find the manufacturing date of your automotive battery. The age of your battery is very important because even batteries that are well taken care of still degrade internally with age and will eventually fail. The average lifetime of a battery is 3-5 years and it's life begins after the manufacturing date. Due to factors beyond the control of Bushougoma, it cannot...
Engine Won't Start - No Crank Diagnosis 2 (Diagnosing A Bad Battery)

In this video I show you how to repair a noisy door lock actuator on 1994-1997 Accords. There is a reason why the OEM actuators cost more the cheap aftermarket actuators fall short on durability and build quality. If you can afford it OEM is the way to go...
How To Depin An Automotive Connector
Просмотров 57 тыс.9 лет назад
In this video I show you how to depin a connector. If just the plastic portion of the connector is broken it makes sense to just replace it instead of cutting off the old connector and spending extra time crimping or soldering a new one on. To do this you simply remove the old contacts from the old connector and pop them into a new connector. The exact process varies from connector to connector...
1994-1997 Accord ABS Accumulator Replacement
Просмотров 43 тыс.9 лет назад
In this video I show you how to replace a bad ABS accumulator on 1994-1997 Accords. The most common cause for a 1-8 ABS code on these vehicles is a bad accumulator. The accumulator stores brake fluid under pressure provided to it by the ABS pump. The accumulator has a piston inside it with brake fluid on one side and high pressure nitrogen gas on the other. Since brake fluid won't compress but ...

In this video I show you how to repair a leaking ABS modulator on 1994-1997 Accords. How To Bleed And Flush Your Brakes
Просмотров 9 тыс.9 лет назад
In this video I show you how to bleed the brake system on your vehicle. This process also applies if you want to flush old fluid out of the lines. Simply removing the old fluid out of the master cylinder reservoir isn't enough. The most common cause of a pedal that feels spongy, mushy, or sinks to the floor is air in the brake system. If you've recently opened or replaced any part in the system...

Thank you so much! Perfect video for this job. Straight and to the point! I use a torque wrench because I don't trust myself with that. I do a lot of my own car repairs. Two reasons. One, I know I'll do it right and two it's way cheaper! My Honda Accord has been one issue after another. I've been throwing parts at it for past 5 years. After this repair? I'm selling.

Depends on how tight it is if it was last installed very tight like with an impact you may end up rounding it off with a 12 point as you have less surface area.

Making no promises to anyone but when I did this on a Civic I accidentally spun the distributor lugs. It seemed I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right but when I fiddled about I discovered my distributor lugs are slightly offset so if you're gentle there is only one orientation that will insert. It makes sense really.

The high-pressure power steering line is not connected where it is on this video on my 1996 Honda Accord EX. I could see the pressure sensor connected underneath the car, but appears as the connection goes down onto the steering rack. I can feel it, but I cannot see it. I’m not sure how I’m going to get to it so that I can disconnect it because I can’t see it.
